Don Franklin House

Donald Franklin House the son of Edgar House and Opal (Brewington) House was born February 27, 1933 at Mountain View, Missouri. Don went to be with the Lord, Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012 at his home Summersville, Missouri making his age 79 years, 7 months and 23 days.

Don was united in marriage to Betty Houston, to their union three children were born, Karen, Michael, and Christine.
Don married Ella (Pat) Patterson, September 23, 2006. Don and Pat made their home in Summersville and were faithful members of Midvale Pentecostal Church in Summersville.

Don served in the United States Army, serving in the Korean conflict from 1951 to 1953.

Don’s past times and hobbies include going to church, his family, golfing, gardening and cutting wood.

Preceding Don in death were his parents, Edgar and Opal House, his deceased spouse Betty House, three brothers, Jerome House, Wayne House and Bill House.

Don is survived by his wife Pat House of the home in Summersville, three children, Karen and Charles Luraschi of Kirkwood, Missouri; Mike and Anne House of Fenton, Missouri; Christine and Joe Finnegan of Crestwood, Missouri; six grandchildren, Mitchell and Kelly House, Charlie and Donald Luraschi, Joshua and Loren Finnegan, step-daughter Jovanne, Cathy, Sandy, Lorie, and Cindy. Don is also survived by a host of nieces nephews and other family members.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 25th, 2012 at 10 :00 Am at Midvale Church in Summersville with Rev. Emmett and Rev. James Bradford officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening October 24, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM at Midvale Church near Summersville.

Services are under the care of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville.
