Mr. Bobbie Jean Lee
Bobbie Jean Lee, the son of Leon Lee and Opal Ruth DeWitt was born November 13, 1945 in Raymondville, Missouri, passed away at his home in Summersville, Missouri on February 11, 2012 making his age 66 years 2 months and 29 days.
He was united in marriage to Merceline Joyce Kelly and to this union he brought one daughter Carol, and Merceline brought four daughters, Linda, Joyce, Brenda and Janet.
Bob was a member of the Eunice Baptist Church and served in the Army until he was discharged for medical reasons.
Bob loved working on cars, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Bob along with other occupations, worked in the logging and sawmill business for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife Merceline Lee, father Leon, step-daughter Linda Martin, siblings, Freddie Dean and Betty Jane, and several other family members.
Bob is survived by: Linda Routh of the home; his mother Opal Ruth Lee of Houston, MO; daughter Carol Stephens and husband Chris of Cape Girardeau, MO; step- daughter Joyce Reeves and husband Ronnie of Summersville, MO; step-daughter Brenda Harris and husband Jerry of Newburg, MO; and step-daughter Janet Popken and husband Alan of Ponca City, OK.
His grandchildren: Joy Faulkner, Elvis Martin, Georgiana McCarty, Bobbie Lamborn, Jeremy Harris, Amie Harris, Christy Harris, Kevin Popken, Scott Popken, Josh Reeves, Beth Lilly, Casey Stephens, and Samantha Stephens.
Bob is survived by his siblings: Barbara Ford and husband Everett of Salem, MO; Danny Lee and Lisa of Mtn. View, MO; Patsy Hebert and husband Lenny of Summersville, MO; Donna Voyles of Mtn. View, MO; Leroy Lee and Betty of Mtn. View, MO; Karen Shroup and husband Joe of Licking, MO; David Lee and wife Sharron of Salem, MO; and Theresa Villarreal of Houston, MO.
Bob is also survived by 9 great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bob will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11 Am at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Burial and Military Rites will be held at Friendship Cemetery in Raymondville, under the care of Bradford Funeral Home
